The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma to construct a Behavioral Health Facility in Pawnee, Pawnee County, Oklahoma.  Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conducting an environmental assessment of the potential of the proposed project to affect the environment and/or historic properties. 

This project proposes to construct an approximately 28,975 square foot, private, standalone 26 bed adult/geriatric inpatient and outpatient behavioral health treatment facility.   The project will be located at across the street from the Indian Health Clinic in Pawnee, OK. Comments received in the EDA Regional Office by 5:00 pm (CST, EST, etc.) on April 4,2021 will be considered.  A copy of the NEPA/NHPA decisional document will be available upon request at the above EDA Regional Office.
