Girls' Dormitory

This building has the most complex construction history of all the buildings in the historic district. Completed in 1878 as the original boarding school building, it housed the boys and girls as well as all classrooms. In 1890 a veranda wrapped around the front and east side. An 1891 photo shows a cupola as well.  Both of these were gone by 1932.
