Shannon Foye (Eppler), Named Superintendent of Comanche Academy Charter School

Lawton, Okla. (June 10, 2025) – Shannon Foye (Eppler), Skidi Band & Pumpkin Vine Clan member, was recently named Superintendent of the Comanche Academy Charter School (a public charter school located in Lawton, OK). She has taught in public schools for several years and has been an early childhood educator for 17 years working with varies Tribes such as Quapaw, Sac & Fox, Kickapoo, & Comanche. With a passion for Culture revitalization and academics, Shannon is a beautiful singer & dancer at varies dances/powwows where she travels with her family.

Shannon is a proud Skidi woman with strong roots in her culture and a love for all Native children. She truly has a gift for making our youth feel seen and heard, while encouraging them to participate in their culture. The Comanche Academy is lucky to have her on as the Superintendent.
