Pawnee Nation opens buildings and lifts mask policy

Free masks and COVID-19 safety sign at a front desk at Pawnee Nation.

The Pawnee Nation Business Council held a Special Meeting on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 6 pm.
During this meeting the following TERC Recommendations were approved, effective immediately:
– All Pawnee Nation Buildings will be open to the public, this does not include rentals at this time
– Masks are no longer mandatory but will be made available, based on CDC guidelines
– In-person meetings may now be conducted with social distance

The Pawnee Nation TERC Committee will continue to monitor the pandemic trends and guidelines to
ensure the safety of all Pawnee Nation employees, Tribal members, and community. Just a reminder that
people with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should continue to wear
a mask.
All information and guidelines can be found on the CDC Guidelines: https://www.cdc.gov/
