Pawnee Nation Election to be held

From the Pawnee Nation Election CommissionPawnee, Okla. Monday, January 30, 2023 –The Pawnee Nation will be conducting a Tribal Election on May 6th, 2023. The positions to be filled are: President (4) Year Position; Treasurer (4) Year Position; First Council Member (4) Year Position; Second Council Member (4) Year Position.  The filing dates for candidates are  February 22nd thru February 25th, 2023.  Candidate filings will be accepted at the Pawnee Nation Law Enforcement Center each day from 1:00 P.M. thru 5:00 P.M.  All prospective candidates must file their candidacy during this time and meet all requirements as stated in the Election Act of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma.  A non-refundable filing fee of $300.00 (three hundred dollars)(must be cashier’s check or money order) will be required to file.  For information concerning these requirements: http://pawneenation.org/pawnee-nation-election-information
