Pawnee Business Council Special Meeting, September 30, 2024

The Pawnee Business Council (PBC) released the minutes of the PBC Special Meeting held September 30, 2024.

The minutes for each regularly scheduled meeting of the PBC are published on the pawneenation.org website within 24 hours. The summaries of these meetings are based solely on information from PBC meetings.

Madam President Misty M. Nuttle called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Roll call declared a Quorum officially. The rule of order proceeded with Approval of the Agenda, followed by PBC Travel Report & Request and PBC Committee Reports.

In Old Business, discussion and declination on Memorandum of Understanding with the Pawnee Seed Preservation Society was put into motion and voted.

In New Business a Cultural Resources Division (CRD) presentation was given by Herb Adson to update the PBC and community about Pawnee-Arikara Reunion and activities planned for October. See Pawnee Nation Calendar of Events for more event details.

Approval of Resolution #24-58 Pawnee Nation Museum By-Laws Revisions was voted by PBC.

Furthermore, the following Budget Committee Recommendations were approved:

• 4152 Native Connections Budget Mod #1,
• 2146 Community Service Block Grant Budget Mod #4,
• 4130-190 I.H.S. Medical Equipment & Generator Budget,
• Resolution #24-59 Federal & State Budget approvals.

Also Approved:

• Resolution #24-60 PTDC First Secure Community Bank Loan Extension,
• Resolution #24-61 Land Allocation-Economic Development Manufacturing Project,
• Resolution #24-62 Land Allocation-PBC Economic Development,
• and discussion and approval on 2024 American Indian Exposition Donation.

The Next Meeting Date was set for October 15, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
