This is to mark the installation of the Medal of Honor headstone for Mad Bear, which should have been installed 112 years ago with his funeral. At all of our Pawnee Nation cemeteries you will find the graves of veterans of the Pawnee Scout Battalion with no military headstone despite having served honorably in the United States Army.
