Congratulations to the newly crowned 2025-2026 Pawnee Indian Veterans Princess, Skye Che K’o Manyimi Harragarra-Harms! Out of respect for the recent losses in the tribe, the family and organization postponed the announcement. May Ati’as Tirawâhat bless those who are mourning.

Hello, my name is Skye Malinda Harragarra-Harms. My Jiwere-Nut’achi name is Che K’o Manyimi, which means Thunder Buffalo Woman. I am a member of the Pîtahawirâta band on my maternal side. My father was a member of the Cawi band and he served as a Cawi Chief. I am Pawnee, Otoe-Missouria, and Kiowa. I am also of Cherokee, Lower Brule Sioux, and Arikara descent. My parents are the late Robin Harms and Wynema Harragarra-Harms.
My paternal grandfather is Lewis Peters – Only A Chief. My paternal grandmothers are Norma Bettes and Nancy Jo Peters – Only A Chief. On my maternal side, my grandfathers are Kirby Harragarra Sr. and the late Ronald Watashe Sr., while my grandmothers are Grace Watashe and Eva Harragarra. My paternal great-grandfather is Jim Peters, and my great-grandmother is Minnie Saunders-Peters. On my maternal side, my great-grandfathers are Wilbur Harragarra, George Arkeketa, and Amos Dukes Hopkins. My great-grandmothers are Reggie Moore-Wilson and Malinda “Bink” Hadley-Arkeketa. I am the great-great-granddaughter of Chief Moses Harragarra, the last hereditary Otoe-Missouria Buffalo Clan provider Chief, who was married to Mary McGlaslin-Harragarra.
My Pawnee families include the Peters – Only A Chief, Moore, and Echohawk families.
I am 16 years old and entering my junior year of high school. I am an active member of several clubs, organizations, youth councils, and honor societies. This past summer, I completed an internship at the University of Oklahoma called Voices of Oklahoma, where I studied archaeology and anthropology with a focus on Native American culture. I am also a concurrent student at the University of Oklahoma, with a primary field of study in law and journalism.
As a member of the Native American Church and a civic leader, I work with organizations such as CASA, No Kid Hungry, ASPCA, Disabled American Veterans, and various programs dedicated to supporting elders and at-risk youth. My interests and passions include dancing, participating in tribal doings, traveling, modeling, horseback riding, surfing, journalism, photography, volleyball, hunting, billiards, cooking, and art. Additionally, I am an entrepreneur focused on brand development.
I am truly honored and grateful to represent my Pawnee people and the Pawnee Indian Veterans as their Princess. May Creator, Ati’as Tirawâhat bless you, your homes, and your families. Nawa iri
