The Division of Planning & Tribal Development is excited to announce the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma is a recipient of special funding from the United States Department of the Interior, under the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), P.L. 93-638 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Housing Improvement Program (HIP) funding.The Pawnee Nation received $149,415 and will use this funding to provide housing improvements to privately owned, Pawnee Nation enrolled tribal elder (65+ years) homes, who live within Pawnee County (Oklahoma). This will help tribal elders who live in substandard housing conditions and address deficiencies identified in their homes. Hard Copy applications are available at the Pawnee Nation Community Health Representatives Office, within the Division of Health and Community Services Building located at 400 Agency Road, Pawnee, OK 74058 or the Pawnee Nation website (www.pawneenation.org).Funding is limited and applications will only be accepted for a two-week period beginning Thursday, April 20, 2023 and the last day applications will be accepted will be Wednesday, May 3, 2023 by close of business.
